2012 Cabernet Sauvignon

Napa Valley, California

An abundance of aroma is lies in this robust Cabernet from the hills above St. Helena. Plenty of blackberry and blueberry intertwine with baking spices - especially cinnamon - while dark chocolate offers nutty aromatics.

On the palate, the silken texture is undeniable, if not unctuous; Cocoa appears once again with its familiar partner, mint - quite the serendipitous relationship; Tannins are bold yet superbly smooth.

A dense, concentrated mouthfeel and lingering finish make this a Cabernet to age well for years.
